Established in 2003, Slingshot Sports NZ, brings products from the 7 Nation family (Slingshot, Ride Engine) to New Zealand. 

Gavin Broadbent (owner/operator) has a long history of success in watersports endeavors from 3 event waterskiing, wakeboarding, windsurfing, kiteboarding, standup paddle boarding, surfing, sailing, and now foiling of all forms. He has held national titles in water-skiing, and wakeboarding, and currently holds the New Zealand speed sailing record over a 500m distance - over 50kts! If you can't get hold of him, he's probably out on the water! 

Gavin has a long friendship with Jeff and Tony Logosz, founders of Slingshot Sports. Much like Tony, Gavin has always been about tinkering, exploring and finding the next great adventure. 

Now with his young family in tow, they run this business purely for the love of sports, to bring you products they're passionate about.
